It is a practical measuring device with curve display, not an oscilloscope.
Unfortunately, it is quite large for an always-on device, it cannot replace an oscilloscope at home, the HDS200 series is completely different and is not even twice as expensive in the bandwidth up to 25 MHz.
And there are two major shortcomings and many minor ones, more on these later.
As a measuring device, it does a useful job. Accurate enough, easy to read, acceptable operation. In particular, the simple curve display via normal test leads through to the oscilloscopic display of currents is a welcome additional benefit when assessing power supplies or devices to be repaired. Bad: AC coupling is not supported in oscilloscope mode. Small ripples on a 12V supply cannot be displayed in this way. As a remedy, I had to build a cord switch with a voltage-proof capacitor in a test lead, but this has other disadvantages.
The other major flaw is the extremely poor frequency range in oscillographic mV mode: the frequency response is already -5% off at 50 kHz and -10% at 82 kHz, with an advertised bandwidth of 1 MHz - but this is only roughly achieved in the V range. Things like a duty cycle measurement that no longer works at <10% duty and a few other inconsistencies only slightly spoil the balance.
Compared to the HDS200 series, the number of curves per second is of course much smaller due to the system, but the operation is successful and the measurement functions including RMS in scope mode are more than usable.
And you get a well designed PCB with space in risky areas, which make it safe to use it even at mains voltage. Do not do this with those cheapo Chinese brands.

Zunächst das Positive : Oszilloskopfunktion auch in Amperebereich ( Kaufgrund). Negativ: 30mV Bereich zeigt Murks ( kann ich bei dem Preis mit Leben) , Screenshots lassen sich nicht auf Geràt anzeigen ( nur per USB auf Tablet/PC), Frequenzzählerfunktion oberhalb 100kHz recht mau , Divider im Oszimode 1:10 und "krumme" 1:3, "Pass-Fail" recht umstàndlich. Oszimode kommt bei 1MHz schon an seine Grenze (HDS242 ist da besser). Geràt hat halt keine Koaxeingànge , sondern Symmetrischen 4mm Eingang und nur 5 Megasamples. Dafür ist der Eingang natürlich auch bei hohen Spannungen sicher nutzbar ,wenn man mit normalen Oszi-Tastköpfen schon im Grenzbereich stochert.
